for the land, and
the five stars for the main islands. |
Canoes meet passing ships to load market goods and get
them to Honiara to sell in the Central Market. |
This giant sea turtle is also heading to Honiara, and
he's not going as a tourist! He'll be sold at the market there. People are
so poor that protecting "endangered species" doesn't outweigh a
source of income.
